From the Principal’s Desk:
What shows how faith and values are passed from generation to generation? If you search for #ChristianCommunityValues on Twitter (or check out the feed on our homepage) you’ll see what our grandparents “tweeted”! Some examples:
  • Families and friends are there to support each other. God is central to our lives and friendships.
  • God’s word for faithful living
  • What I like about ICS is that we are different. We can pray.
Fall is a time when charities and organizations reflect on the year past (that’s the reason for our upcoming Fall Membership Meeting which I encourage all parents and members to make time for!). So, parents, it’s also now your challenge to share how ICS fosters Christian values in our children. Fill out the attached sheet in big, bold letters. Take a group selfie with the sheet. Please post the picture on Twitter with the hashtag #ChristianCommunityValues. Don’t tweet? Email the picture to office@immanuelchristianschool.net and we’ll post it for you. Make it your goal to have a post this Friday PA day and make a fun social media impact!

The Tillsonburg parade will be on November 19th at 2pm and the Aylmer parade is November 26th at 2pm. • Check out available AR quizzes at http://www.arbookfind.com to find levels and points. You may find books from your public library, your church library or even your home library have quizzes available.
  • Yesterday you may have received an email about your child’s books coming due this week. This is a trial, and we may not always communicate this way, acknowledging that it is a bit bulky. However, it is a way for me to get information directly to you, rather than depend on the overdue list on the colourful slip of paper, since we know some make it home and others don’t. If you DO NOT want to be contacted this way, OR if it went to a seldom used email address, please let Mrs. Robinson know so that adjustments can be made. ALSO, if you find this is a helpful way to connect, let her know that too!

From the ArtRoom - Please check the Art Wikispace for donation items: we are currently needing colourful socks (Ardene has a good supply for a good price), and plain white tube socks.
If you have sewing skills please let me know if you can volunteer in art class - Mondays 1-2:30, Fridays 1-2:30. Thanks!!

Christmas Carols & Hymns.jpgSave the Date! Friday December 9th, Christmas Carols & Hymns performed by two of our private music instructors: Derrick Drover and Amanda Cameron! Our musicians are donating their musical talent, all proceeds go to ICS fundraising. Invite friends and family for a musical night celebrating the Christmas season! Able to help Keith with refreshments? Please let him know!
