From the Principal’s Desk:
The traditional greeting for this coming Sunday morning is a joyful, “He is risen!” The joy of this season is preceded by the Good Friday solemn remembrance of Jesus’ death. I love how this year’s drama, A Not So Terrible Parable, mirrors the same darkness then hope. I’m thankful for how at our Christian school, we can craft our schedule and our teaching content to point towards the Biblical narrative!
As staff, we trust you will appreciate tonight’s Celebration of Learning in our classrooms, and our drama following right afterwards. May that be a help to us all as we enter this Easter season! He is risen indeed!
In Christian education, Keith Cameron, Principal and Chief Operating Officer
Praying for our parents: Please join us as we pray for Henry & Margaret Voth and Mike & Susie Wall.

Transport Survey: Transportation and Finance committees are looking at offering a tuition reduction to families who do not require the use of our transportation services. Depending on the amount of families who opt out, savings could be up to $1,000.00 per family.  For the rest of our families who cannot give up this service, there is also the possibility of cost savings on a smaller replacement bus  which will be required in the coming year. All responses to be returned to the office by Thurs April 13th. Questions? Please contact Dean Mantel Transportation Chair at 519-282-3115

I will commit to not requiring transportation services next year   ______________________________

Easter Thoughts:
I would like to wish each family a very blessed Easter! In our class devotions and Bible, we have been looking at the Easter story through the eyes of different characters. Imagining what the disciples would have been going through or how Simon of Cyrene would have felt carrying the cross has helped us to see the story in a new way. May you recognize the power of Christ’s sacrifice and the joy of His resurrection this year! ~Miss Loewen
~Easter is a time to remember what Jesus has done for us.~ Elizabeth Voth
~I am thankful for Easter because I get to see all of my friends and Jesus died on the cross.~Rebecca Krahn
~It’s really special that Jesus was so generous to die on the cross. He didn’t have to but He wanted to save our sin.~Presley Fehr
~Jesus washed away all our sin.~ Blake Milmine
~Easter is special because we get together with family and celebrate Jesus rising from the dead.~Rachel Cameron
~Easter means to me...family, friends, Jesus, and time. ~Rylee Peters
~We remember that He died on the cross and eat yummy, yummy food. ~Gabriella Friesen

After our Easter break, students from both grade 3 classes will again be joining Mr. Cameron for a unit on fractions! This unit will finish on May 5. We look forward to learning many new things together.
